Senior Plant (Lead) Technician is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of the biodiesel facility on his assigned operational shift. The Senior Plant Technician assures that alarms and upset conditions are properly cleared and reported, and that operating Plant technicians under his direction take appropriate corrective actions. Strictly adheres to all safety and environmental rules and regulations to protect the employees and public safety.

This position implements, coordinates and performs the engineering support functions for plant operations and maintenance. Emphasis of this position is developing and implementing necessary process design changes to improve the plant availability following the Management of Change process. Administrative assistant provides administrative support to all areas of the biodiesel facility. This includes payroll and employee benefits support with liaison with the Human Resource Manager. Obtains quotations and initiates purchase orders in Navision. Receives packing slips for parts and materials and enters information into Navision. The duties are performed under the direction of the Plant Manager. Strictly adheres to all safety and environmental rules and regulations to protect the employees and public safety.
