Green Earth Fuels Senior VP Martin Beirne speaks at 2007 Global Refining Strategies Conference
Industry Expert Covers Challenges Facing Refiners Seeking to Integrate Biodiesel Fuels into Mainstream Energy Channels
Green Earth Fuels Senior Vice President Martin Beirne, III has been chosen to speak about biodiesel fuels integration at Global Refining Strategies, Houston 2007. The event, which takes place on September 10 and 11, brings together the world's refining leaders to explore strategies for improving the long-term value of the refining business in light of stringent environmental mandates, market uncertainties and heightened security measures.
Mr. Beirne will participate on a panel titled, "Preparing for the Alternative Fuels Influx." Specifically, he will focus on the challenges that major refiners face in integrating biodiesel fuels into the energy complex and delve into opportunities and methods to facilitate this integration.
"The ability to consistently integrate quality controlled biodiesel into the existing petroleum refining and distribution infrastructure will be critical to the successful growth of the biodiesel market," said Beirne. "I'm looking forward to sharing how Green Earth Fuels places itself directly within the petroleum supply chain, creating a seamless integration with energy customers existing refining and distribution operations."
Beirne, responsible for Green Earth Fuels' commercial efforts, brings with him over a decade of industry experience - including the commercial, regulatory and operational/technical aspects of biodiesel. Recognized for his ability to advance the commercial opportunities for biodiesel fuel, he has been asked to present before such diverse bodies as the Texas Legislative Committee on Environmental Regulation, the San Diego Air and Waste Management Association, the Department of Energy Clean Cities annual meeting and the Brazilian Technical Mission for Petroleum Logistics.
